Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Colorado seeks a Trust Officer II to manage a diverse client book, including trusts, estates, conservatorships, investment agencies, and IRAs. You will coordinate with Wealth Advisors to design comprehensive financial and estate plans and ensure compliance with governing documents and regulations.

You will work with Legal, Tax, and Audit teams, maintain detailed electronic records, and provide regular status updates to clients and senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience in trust administration, estates, or related field.
• Ability to manage a complex mix of Agencies, IRAs, and Trust accounts.
• Strong knowledge of trust laws, tax regulations, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and administers a full book of existing accounts in compliance with bank policies, state laws, and regulations.
• Administers personal trust accounts; reviews and interprets trust agreements and related documents.
• Assists in administration of estates, including marshalling and distributing assets and resolving claims.
• Oversees onboarding and termination of accounts.
• Coordinates with legal and tax professionals to ensure accurate filings.
