Qualifications

• Experience drafting and responding to written discovery with precision.
• Ability to take and defend depositions with clear communication.
• Proven track record drafting law and motion documents and arguing motions.
• Comfortable with court appearances and professional conduct.
• Experience preparing cases for mediation and trial readiness.
• Direct client communication experience with timely updates.
• Experience in trial preparation and second-chairing trials.

Responsibilities

• Manage a trust litigation, probate, estate planning, and trust administration caseload under partners.
• Draft and respond to written discovery and take/defend depositions.
• Draft law and motion papers, including meet and confer letters; argue motions in court.
• Attend court appearances and participate in mediation preparations.
• Directly communicate with clients to provide updates and gather information.
• Assist with trial preparation and potential second-chair trial opportunities.
• Supervise paralegals and support staff; prepare estate plans for Trustees/Administrators.
• Perform other litigation tasks and track deadlines for timely filings.
