The role involves representing trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries in trust and probate matters, mentoring associates, and collaborating within a team to deliver skilled advocacy for vulnerable clients.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
• Minimum of 6 years in trust and estate litigation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent senior citizens and families in financial elder abuse litigation.
• Represent trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries in trust and probate litigation.
• Handle contests based on lack of capacity, undue influence, or fraud.
• Address negligent management of assets and failure to account.
• Resolve co-trustee disputes and removal/surcharge actions.
• Supervise and mentor associates.
