The attorney will manage matters independently while collaborating with a skilled team, with opportunities for leadership as the department expands. The right candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with the ability to listen to clients, explain complex concepts clearly, and deliver practical, well-designed estate

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience.
• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, or related areas.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and legal research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain sophisticated legal concepts in plain language.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage matters, deadlines, and client relationships.
• Professional, compassionate, and responsive approach with families and fiduciaries.
• Experience with advanced estate planning and high-net-worth structures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Counsel individuals and families regarding estate planning and wealth-transfer objectives.
• Design and prepare comprehensive estate plans.
• Draft wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, health care documents, and related instruments.
• Advise on trust structures and strategies.
• Review and update existing estate plans as circumstances change.
• Counsel trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, and family members in probate and trust administration.
• Handle probate administrations and related filings.
• Prepare petitions, notices, inventories, accountings, waivers, and orders.
• Guide fiduciaries through legal obligations and administration responsibilities.
• Interact with courts, financial institutions, CPAs, and other professionals when needed.
• Collaborate with paralegals and staff to move matters from consultation to completion.
• Maintain regular, proactive client communication and ensure file quality.
• Develop relationships with financial advisors and other referral partners.
• Participate in seminars and business-development activities.
• Help improve workflows and processes as the department grows.
