Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active Florida Bar member in good standing.
  • 3+ years of trusts & estates experience preferred.
  • Experience with estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Knowledge of federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client matters independently within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and implement sophisticated estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, directives).
  • Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies and tax planning.
  • Counsel fiduciaries regarding trust and estate administration matters.
  • Handle probate and trust administration from inception to completion.
  • Assist family-owned businesses with succession planning and wealth transfer strategies.
  • Collaborate with tax, corporate, real estate, and litigation teams to provide comprehensive service.
  • Conduct legal research on federal and Florida estate, gift, and probate laws.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships while growing the Trusts & Estates practice.

We are seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney.

This attorney will advise high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, fiduciaries, and beneficiaries on a broad range of estate planning, trust administration, probate, wealth preservation, and succession planning matters.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, exceptional client relationship abilities, and a commitment to delivering practical, sophisticated legal solutions tailored to clients' personal and business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and implement sophisticated estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related instruments.
  • Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, gift and estate tax planning, asset protection, and business succession planning.
  • Counsel fiduciaries regarding trust and estate administration matters.
  • Handle probate and trust administration proceedings from inception through completion.
  • Assist family-owned businesses with succession planning and generational wealth transfer strategies.
  • Collaborate with attorneys in tax, corporate, real estate, and litigation practice groups to provide comprehensive client service.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance regarding federal and Florida estate, gift, trust, and probate laws.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the growth of the firm's Trusts & Estates practice.
  • Participate in networking, business development, and community engagement activities.
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
  • 3+ years of trusts and estates experience preferred, though attorneys with more significant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with estate planning, probate administration, and trust administration matters.
  • Knowledge of federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax principles.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client matters independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.
