Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in trusts and estates, estate planning, or related tax planning.
• Working knowledge of federal estate, gift, and income tax principles.
• Experience drafting estate planning documents.
• Strong analytical, drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage assignments independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies.
• Draft and revise estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.
• Support business succession planning for closely held business owners.
• Analyze estate, gift, and income tax issues and implement tax-efficient strategies.
• Collaborate with corporate attorneys on business ownership and restructuring matters.
• Work with clients, accountants, and financial advisors to implement planning recommendations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on trusts, estates, and tax matters.
• Assist with estate and trust administration, including fiduciary guidance and beneficiary communications.
