Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our San Jose office, focusing on high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and trust administration, with the ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver tailored legal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise high-net-worth clients on estate planning strategies, including tax-efficient wealth transfer, asset protection, and charitable giving
• Draft and review complex estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, family limited partnerships, and advanced directives
• Structure and implement strategies to minimize federal and state estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes
• Counsel fiduciaries on trust and estate administration, including probate proceedings
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and family offices to deliver integrated planning solutions
• Provide guidance on business succession planning and closely held entity structuring
• Stay current on evolving tax laws and estate planning techniques
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
