Overview

Job Title: Trusted Thin Client Lead

Location: Shaw AFB (Sumter), SC

This position is pending contract award.

Responsibilities

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Trusted Thin Client Lead to support the AFCENT Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) contract at Shaw AFB, SC.

  • Lead the system administration efforts for TTC server and client environments, ensuring secure and efficient operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the TTC system, providing technical guidance and leadership to team members.
  • Develop and implement processes for proactive monitoring, maintenance, and issue resolution to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Perform administrative tasks involving TTC server and client hardware, software, applications, and configurations.
  • Ensure the Trusted Thin Client system is operating efficiently and securely, contributing directly to mission-critical operations.
  • Implement network security protocols and enforce cybersecurity best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing immediate and sustainable solutions for the TTC system.
  • Manage a 24/7 operational environment that provides on-call support as needed and coordinating responses to incidents and maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and integration of TTC systems across broader operational initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise, fostering a learning environment, and providing performance feedback.
  • Develop training programs and documentation for both internal team members and end users, ensuring consistency in system understanding and usage.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels to provide updates, resolve issues, and drive system improvements.
  • Global travel up to 10%
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
General Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervising personnel.
  • DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher; and Citrix Certified Associate ‐ Virtualization (CCA‐V) or Citrix Certified Associate ‐ Networking (CCA‐N), or equivalent certification.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering or related field, and 4 years' software development / engineering experience; or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering or related field, and 6 years software development/engineering experience; or 8 years' experience software development/engineering.
