Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class B CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
• DOT Medical Card required and clean driving record
• Familiarity with SISBO and state bus regulations
• Ability to climb stairs and manually handle lifting tasks (30 lbs)

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a 40-foot school bus on urban and rural routes under all weather conditions
• Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensures no safety defects
• Conducts routine student management and enforces behavioral expectations on the bus
• Keeps accurate logs, communicates with dispatch, and adheres to route schedules
• Participates in required training and annual professional development
