Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Passenger endorsement or state bus license.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Experience driving a bus or transporting children preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety inspection protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate the school bus safely on routes and schedules.
• Ensure student safety and enforce bus rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Keep accurate records of routes, mileage, fuel usage, and incidents.
• Communicate with school staff, parents and emergency personnel as needed.
• Assist students during boarding and disembarking.
