Job summary

The UMB Private Wealth Trust Sales Advisor (PWTSA) builds and manages client relationships within the ultra-high net worth Trust market, focusing on complex trust administration and coordinated wealth strategies.

You will source high-net-worth clients, steward wealth accounts, lead service delivery with the team, and present estate planning techniques to COIs while traveling as needed in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years wealth management experience for HNW/UHNW clients or equivalent background.
  • Experience in Complex Trust Administration.
  • Strong business development and COI development skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Expertise in UHNW wealth management and estate planning.

Responsibilities

  • Source and develop high-net-worth client relationships through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.

The UMB Private Wealth Trust Sales Advisor (PWTSA) is responsible for building and managing client relationships with Private Wealth's ultra-high net worth Trust market segment . The PWTSA will grow and service an existing book of clients including many of PWM's high-profile and more complex client relationships, in particular those requiring complex trust administration .

How you'll spend your time:
  • You will s ource and develop high-net-worth client relationships through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • You will s teer administration of Client's wealth and trust accounts by being trusted partner .
  • You will l ead high performance service delivery to clients by coordinating team delivering services .
  • You will m anage and expand high-profile client relationships .
  • You will p rovide proactive solution-oriented planning for clients and coordination of wealth strategy planning goals and objectives .
  • You will l ead a proactive, high-touch communication plan for all clients .
  • You will p rovide wealth management subject matter expertise .
  • You will p articipate in and attend meetings and functions as assigned .
  • You will c reate and lead presentations to external and internal COIs on estate planning techniques for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
  • You will serve as the primary driver of new trust relationships for the market.
  • You will coordinate and assign the team members of new trust relationships transitioning those accounts to those team members.

  • You have 10+ years' experience in wealth management for HNW and UHNW clients , o r combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.

  • You demonstrate e xcellent communication and presentation skills .
  • You are an e xpert on wealth management issues pertinent to UHNW families .
  • You have good relation ship management skills .
  • You have the a bility to address client concerns and needs .
  • You d emonstrate understanding of investment strategies utilized by UHNW clients .
  • You d emonstrate understanding of tax challenges of UHNW clients .
  • You show f amiliarity with wealth management products and estate planning solutions, including trusts and administration, member and manager managed LLCs and Limited Partnerships, and asset management .
  • You d emonstrate extensive knowledge of Trust and Bank products and services (i.e., investments, insurance, brokerage, private banking, retirement planning) .
  • You have the a bility to identify and find solutions for unique assets of UHNW client including, commercial properties, LLCs, oil and gas, alternative energy, ranch and farm properties .

  • You have o ne or more of the following credentials : MBA , CFA, CFP®, CPA, CTFA, or JD .
  • You have s upervisory or team leadership experience .
  • You have 5+ years in demonstrated sales position .
  • You are a ctive in community and professional organizations; considered a leader in the community.
  • You have e xperience drafting complex estate plans for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
Work Environment

Hybrid. Travel as needed.

Compensation Range:

$141,354 - $207,900
