The Trust Department's mission is to set up and manage trust funds for clients, as well as to advise clients on what investments to make while managing their assets. The Trust Receptionist plays an important role. This position is often the first point of contact for callers/visitors/clients and actions create people’s first and ongoing impressions of our organization. There is heavy contact with people via phone, email, and in person. Some of the more challenging aspects of the position include handling difficult clients; finding the right employee qualified to help a caller/client/visitor with their inquiry; making sure the information the incumbent in this position communicates is accurate, clear, and understood; juggling multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
