EverStaff in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Trust Paralegal/Trust Administration Specialist to join a growing financial services team. This full-time, hybrid position focuses on trust and estate matters, requiring strong drafting, research, and analytical skills to support complex trust administrations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of trust administration or estate planning experience, knowledge of Delaware trust law preferred, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, or related legal/financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of trust and estate documents and administration.
  • Excellent legal drafting and writing skills.
  • Experience with discretionary and/or directed trusts preferred.
  • Knowledge of Delaware trust law and Title 12 of the Delaware Code preferred.
  • Strong research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive and complex matters.

Responsibilities

  • Review requests for legal and trust-related analysis, identify issues, and determine appropriate next steps and priorities.
  • Assist with the preparation, review, and administration of trust and estate documents.
  • Draft and review trust instruments, including removal and appointment documents, nonjudicial settlement agreements, investment and distribution direction letters, and receipt, release, refunding, and indemnification agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze trust documents, governing statutes, regulations, and other applicable authorities.
  • Review and interpret trust provisions and assist with resolving complex trust administration matters.
  • Communicate with attorneys, internal teams, clients, and other professional advisors regarding trust and estate matters.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure matters are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with process improvements and recommend changes when appropriate.
  • Manage multiple matters and changing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

A growing financial services organization is adding a Trust Paralegal to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trust and estate professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to take on meaningful responsibility within a growing organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong trust administration and estate planning experience, excellent legal drafting skills, and the ability to independently research and analyze trust documents, statutes, and regulations.
