Job summary

Devon Bank is seeking a Trust Operations Manager to lead daily operations of the Trust and Wealth Management Department. You will oversee recordkeeping, transaction documentation, risk management, and compliance.

Responsibilities include GWES reconciliation, asset custody coordination, tax form production, audit management, and client reporting. Strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college.
• Three+ years of Trust Operations or Wealth Advisory Administration experience.
• At least two years in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of FDIC regulatory requirements, banking and accounting functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication and client service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Balance and reconcile GWES system daily, monthly and yearly.
• Supervise posting of security trades, income processing, and capital structures transactions.
• Reconcile assets held at custodians, brokers, mutual funds and DRP agents.
• Set-up new GWES accounts and oversee asset collection.
• Close accounts on GWES and oversee outgoing assets.
• Produce customer statements and tax forms (1099, 5498).
• Coordinate with outside tax preparers for timely tax returns and K-1s.
• Manage audits and produce related audit packages.
• Produce year-end IRA statements and distributions notices.
• Oversee online trust portal interface and mobile apps.
