Who We Are

Cornerstone Private Asset Trust Company is a boutique firm built on relationships, flexibility, and a shared commitment to doing what's best for our clients. We operate as a highly collaborative team where everyone contributes, supports one another, and steps in where needed - regardless of title.

As part of the BGM Group, we partner across tax, wealth management, and advisory services to deliver a fully integrated client experience. Internally, that same collaboration defines how we work - without silos or rigid role boundaries.

Trust and estate services are at the core of what we do. We work closely with individuals and families to administer trusts, manage assets, and ensure their long-term goals are carried out with care and precision.

Primary Purpose

We are seeking an experienced, relationship-focused Trust Officer to manage trusts, estates, and other fiduciary accounts while helping grow and deepen client relationships.

This role combines technical fiduciary knowledge with client service, business development, risk management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is client-focused, analytical, detail-oriented, and confident making sound decisions while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.

Identify and mitigate potential risk issues and engage appropriate internal personnel as needed.

Delegate appropriate tasks to Trust Administration support staff.

Client Relationships & Business Development

Develop and maintain relationships with community contacts and professional advisors to identify and win new business opportunities.

Build and maintain a pipeline of clients and opportunities through referrals from current clients, internal business partners, and centers of influence.

Partner with the market team to develop strategies and marketing programs designed to enhance the client experience.

Serve as an ambassador of Trust Administration and Cornerstone Private Asset Trust Company, LLC in the Sioux Falls market.

Represent Cornerstone in the community through leadership opportunities, which may include service on one or more nonprofit boards.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

Mentor and support team members on trust and estate products and services.

Collaborate with Trust Administration support staff and internal partners to deliver coordinated client service.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
