Plante Moran is seeking a Personal Trust Administrator to manage irrevocable and charitable trusts, agency accounts, ILITs, and estates. You will participate in Trust Admin and Investment Committee oversight and maintain ongoing client relationships with grantors, beneficiaries, and advisors.

The role requires 4–6 years in trust or financial planning, a Bachelor’s in Business, and preferred JD/CTFA or CFP/CPA credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, or Economics) required.
• 4–6 years of experience in Personal Trust Account Administration, financial planning, investments or estate planning required.
• JD and/or CTFA preferred; CFP or CPA also preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Administer irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, agency accounts, ILITs, and estates with oversight and fiduciary duties.
• Prepare and review materials for Trust Administration and Trust Investment Committees for governance.
• Maintain regular contact with grantors, beneficiaries, and advisors to discuss trust issues.
• Lead and mentor staff; coordinate holistic services and staff development.
• Integrate investment, estate, tax, and financial planning knowledge for clients.
• Build client relationships with empathy, managing family dynamics sensitively.
• Support practice development and client expansion through referrals and meetings.
• Contribute to internal initiatives and project work.
