Ascendion is seeking a Trust & Estates Attorney to join a growing team in a hybrid role. The candidate should have 7+ years of experience and a track record in complex estate planning, probate management, and wealth preservation for sophisticated clients.

Responsibilities include drafting wills and trusts, guiding executors, and advising on real estate transactions tied to estate planning. The position offers full benefits and a flexible schedule including PTO and vacation time.

Qualifications

• Exposure to real estate transactions, commercial leases, and financing mechanisms as they intersect with asset management.

Responsibilities

• Design, draft, and implement sophisticated estate planning strategies, including complex wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Oversee probate proceedings, guide executors and trustees through administrative processes, prepare tax returns (estate and gift), and resolve complex fiduciary matters.
• Advise high-net-worth clients on wealth preservation, asset protection mechanisms, charitable giving, and family business succession planning.
• Counsel clients on estate-related commercial real estate transactions, loan documentation, lease agreements, and property easements tied to estate structures.

We are working with an award winning law firm, looking to bring on a Trust & Estates Attorney to join their growing team. They are in expansion mode and this position will be hybrid. They are looking for someone with 7+ years of experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Trust & Estates experience
• Exposure to real estate transactions, commercial leases, and financing mechanisms as they intersect with asset management.
• Strong track record of client management, analytical skills, and precise legal drafting capabilities.
• Collaborative approach with a strong drive to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, team-centered environment.

The annual salary for this position is between 150k-180k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
