ICX Group seeks an experienced Trust & Estate Planning Attorney to design and lead sophisticated estate plans for high-net-worth clients, deploying the resources and infrastructure of an established organization behind your own practice.

In this entrepreneurial role you will own 100% of your law firm, collaborate with tax advisors, foundations, and founders, and craft complex trusts, QSBS strategies, and multigenerational wealth structures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estate planning experience.
• Demonstrated experience drafting complex trusts.
• Strong understanding of federal estate, gift, and GST tax laws.
• Experience structuring QSBS / Section 1202 planning strategies.
• Experience establishing and advising private foundations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated estate plans for high-net-worth individuals and families
• Draft and implement revocable and irrevocable trusts
• Develop QSBS planning strategies, including multi-trust stacking strategies
• Advise founders on pre-exit trust planning and equity optimization
• Structure dynasty trusts, SLATs, GRATs, ILITs, and other advanced estate planning vehicles
• Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax strategies
• Establish and structure private foundations and charitable trusts
• Advise on private foundation compliance and governance
• Collaborate with tax advisors on integrated planning strategies
• Advise business owners and families on succession planning
• Provide trust administration and fiduciary guidance

Our client is a growing fractional family office providing comprehensive tax, advisory, and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, founders, and entrepreneurial families.

We are seeking a Trust & Estate Planning Attorney to design and implement sophisticated estate plans while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and their families.

The Opportunity

This is a unique entrepreneurial opportunity for an attorney who wants the autonomy of operating their own practice while having the infrastructure and support of an established organization behind them. The attorney will hold 100% ownership of the legal entity as required by law and effectively operate their own law firm. The organization will provide the operational support and resources necessary to run the practice, including insurance, external legal counsel, marketing, administrative support, and other related expenses.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• 5+ years of estate planning experience
• Demonstrated experience drafting complex trusts
• Strong understanding of federal estate, gift, and GST tax laws
• Experience structuring QSBS / Section 1202 planning strategies
• Experience establishing and advising private foundations
• Excellent written, analytical, and client communication skills
• Ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset

Preferred Experience

• Experience advising founders and pre-exit companies
• Knowledge of Section 1202 planning strategies
• Experience with multi-generational wealth transfer structures
• Familiarity with charitable planning vehicles, including CRTs, CLTs, and donor-advised funds
• Experience working with high-net-worth families and closely held businesses
• Strong business development and relationship-management skills
