We are seeking a Trust Administrator II to join the team within Premier Trust, a member of Osaic. The Trust Administrator is responsible for the basic administration of assigned accounts and represents the company in business activities and contacts with customers, outside professionals and beneficiaries relating to these accounts. The position includes discretionary distribution approval based on Board approved levels and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures governing trust functions, as well as all applicable state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Administer accounts in accordance with the terms of the governing instrument and in a manner consistent with the needs of principals, beneficiaries, and remaindermen.
- Contact or correspond with persons, agencies, and organizations that have an interest in any aspect of an account.
- Maintain awareness of new business opportunities and advise or consult with other officers on proposed plans, communicating information to the marketing administrator for follow‑up.
- Assist in analyzing the need for funds according to the conditions of trust and beneficiary needs.
- Coordinate and review the preparation for filing federal and state tax returns for trusts.
- Establish and maintain client data.
- Initiate and/or assist in the funding of new accounts.
- Interact frequently with subordinates, peers and functional managers.
- Operate a personal computer and all necessary programs to obtain and process data.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all records and data received and produced.
- Answer telephones, emails, and direct callers to proper personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, state laws and regulations.
- Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) and USA PATRIOT Act policies by properly verifying the identity of any person or business an account, maintaining records of the information used to verify each customer and consulting lists of known terrorists before opening an account.
- Ensure that proper risk‑rate customer identification is conducted as outlined in the Customer Identification Program.
- Report any customer suspected of suspicious activity immediately to the BSA/Compliance Officer.
- Participate in required annual BSA/AML/OFAC and compliance training.
- Consistently report to work on time, adhere to scheduled breaks, attend all meetings and training as required.

- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED certificate plus significant practical experience in the financial services industry specifically in Trust Administration.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of trust administration experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of related state trust compliance regulations and other trust operational policies.
- Intermediate knowledge of trust policies, procedures, products and services.
- Intermediate skills in personal computer operation, word processing, spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel). Typing speed sufficient for production needs.
- Intermediate math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute ratios and percentages, draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Effective organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal or no supervision while performing duties.
- Current driver’s license and vehicle with appropriate insurance if required for assigned duties.
- Sensitivity to deadlines and ability to multi‑task.

- Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA).
