Job summary

Truist in Orlando (FL) is seeking a Fiduciary Team Leader to oversee Trust Administration, New Business Engagement Risk Oversight, Compliance, and client delivery for their segment. You will lead Trust Administration Advisors and Client Service Specialists and drive assigned projects.

Reporting to the Fiduciary Director, you will coordinate with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams, ensure adherence to governing instruments and state laws, and escalate client or teammate issues as needed.

Qualifications

• College degree with emphasis on Business or Finance.
• 10+ years of experience in Trust Administration and fiduciary oversight.
• Familiarity with state laws governing Personal Trust.
• Strong leadership and deadline management.
• Effective communication with partners and peers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Trust Administration and client activities per instruments and laws.
• Coach and oversee Center Trust Advisors and Client Service Specialists.
• Coordinate risk, compliance, and oversight with partners.
• Execute management routines and projects for Advisory Center line of business.
• Handle client or teammate escalations with Fiduciary Director involvement.

Job Summary

Reports to the Fiduciary Director and is responsible for the successful day to day execution and leadership of all the Trust Administration, New Business Engagement Risk Oversight, Compliance and Client (or Client Team) Delivery commitments for their respective segment(s). The Fiduciary Team Leader is accountable for the performance of Trust Administration Advisors in their respective segment. At the direction of the Fiduciary Director, the Fiduciary Team Leader is responsible for assigned projects and other activities which benefit the overall line of business or center location.

Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)

Location: In-office; the cities listed are options but other locations within the Truist geography can be considered.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful delivery of various Trust Administration and client (direct client and client team) activities in accordance with the terms of governing instruments, Policies, Procedures and applicable state laws.
• Responsible for the coaching, development, oversight and performance of assigned Center Trust Advisors and Client Service Specialists.
• Responsible for day to day coordination of Risk, Compliance and other Oversight activities in collaboration with Fiduciary Director, Risk, Legal, Compliance and other partners.
• Responsible for the successful ongoing execution of assigned management routines.
• Responsible for the successful execution of projects for the Advisory Center line of business.
• Responsible for addressing any client or teammate escalations, and tasked with escalating further to the Fiduciary Director if needed.

Required Qualifications

• College Degree with a preferred emphasis on Business or Finance.
• Significant experience (over 10 years) in Trust Administration, Fiduciary oversight and new business activities for Personal Trust.
• Familiarity and experience with State and other applicable laws governing the administration of Personal Trust Accounts.
• Leadership qualities and ability to successfully meet competing deadlines and commitments.
• Proven ability to communicate with partners and peers.

Preferred Qualifications

• CTFA or similar designation.
• Advanced degree (JD, MBA, etc).
• Prior direct Trust Administration experience with a book of personal trust accounts.
• Proficiency with various computer and systems applications used to lead the business.
• Experience with addressing and resolving risk and compliance issues associated with Personal Trust Services matters.
