Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to read engineered drawings and use them to build trusses.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery to load bunks of lumber onto carts and push to production area.
• Unload, sort, and place lumber onto tables according to design.
• Assemble components and staple wood parts together.
• Place metal plates at truss joints and operate the truss press.
• Maintain safety equipment and follow PPE requirements.
• Read engineered drawings and support a collaborative team.
