Job summary

Associated Truss & Lumber Co. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Sunnyvale, TX. You will deliver prefabricated wooden trusses and lumber from our yard to local sites, loading/unloading and maintaining accurate delivery logs.

This role requires 2+ years of truck driving experience (flatbed/roller bed) and a valid CDL A, with forklift certification preferred. A DOT physical, drug screen, and clean MVR are required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience driving trucks including flatbed, roller beds, and forklifts.
• CDL Class A Commercial driver's license.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Must be able to pass MVR report.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck, flat bed and roller bed.
• Safely operate a forklift and forklift certified.
• Deliver prefabricated wooden trusses & lumber.
• Load and unload trusses and lumber.
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Verify order details and maintain log of deliveries.
• Required to use company‑issued cellular device and maintain 2GB usage.
• Inspect truck before and after trip.

We provide high quality trusses, lumber, and box springs to single family, commercial, multi-family and industrial customers. We also provide responsive and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join our team! We are a growing floors and roofs truss company in the manufacturing industry who provides high quality trusses, lumber, and box springs, and provides responsive and exceptional customer service.

This position is responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

The CDL driver delivers directly from our yard to local sites. What does this mean to you? Our deliveries keep you in town.

This position requires minimal lumber/truss yard work.
