Job summary

Buffalo Framing & Truss is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to operate a commercial vehicle delivering lumber and components to customers and work sites, and to pick up material from vendors. You will report to the Logistics Manager.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, 21+ years old, and at least 1 year of Class A driving experience. You must maintain logs, secure loads, and work Mon-Fri with some Saturdays, in a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of Class A driving experience.
• Must meet Buffalo’s MVR qualifications.
• Work safely in all weather conditions.
• Comply with DOT and company requirements.
• Team player willing to help others.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform simple math.
• Maintain a clean truck and trailer.
• Work Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily pre-trip logs.
• Secure load for safe travel.
• Check load contents for accuracy per delivery documents.
• Assist forklift operators and load builders between deliveries.
• Make courtesy calls to the customer before getting loaded.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.

Job summary:

The Truck Driver is responsible for operating a commercial vehicle to deliver lumber and components to customers and work sites, and to pick up material from vendors and other work sites. The Truck Driver reports to the Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily pre-trip logs.

• Secure load for safe travel.

• Check load contents for accuracy per delivery documents.

• Assist forklift operators and load builders between deliveries.

• Make courtesy calls to the customer before getting loaded.
