Pro Mechanical Services is seeking a hands-on Truss Designer in Batavia, NY. You will design roof and floor trusses, read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, and ensure designs comply with codes and standards.

This role collaborates closely with sales and production to deliver manufacturable, code-compliant solutions. The position requires 2+ years of truss design experience, proficiency with truss design software, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of truss and structural component design experience.
• Read and interpret architectural/structural plans and specifications.
• Effective communication and collaboration with sales and production.

Responsibilities

• Produce roof and floor truss layouts and designs using truss design software (Eagle Trubuild or comparable).
• Read and interpret architectural/structural plans and specifications.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, engineering requirements and standards.
• Review and revise designs.
• Assist with material lists, design documentation and job file organization.
