Job summary

Kighthomecenter, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is looking for a Truss Designer to create detailed designs for roof and floor trusses. You will ensure that designs meet necessary standards and deadlines, while also collaborating with various teams to guarantee accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in truss, engineered wood product or wall panel design software.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and problem-solve.
• Strong understanding of design standards and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Create design illustrations from blueprints for fabrication.
• Finalize designs for production and assembly.
• Communicate with teams and customers to ensure accurate designs.

Skills

Knowledgeable in basic aspects of construction

Truss design software experience

Competency in mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry

Reading architectural and structural plans

Strong verbal and written communication

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
