Job summary

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC in Ocala, FL is seeking an experienced Truss Department Associate on the 2nd shift to support yard operations and customer service.

Under direct supervision, you will review job lists, map for efficiency, photograph sites, verify materials against invoices, move items around the yard, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with six months related experience.
• Knowledge of various types of lumber.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review job list, created by the truss department, and map for efficiency.
• Visit each job site, take pictures to send back to the truss department, with a written note on the status of the job.
• Review materials loaded against invoice or requisition; complete and route paperwork appropriately
• Move product/material throughout the yard ensuring placement in correct areas
• All other duties as assigned

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building Materials company, is seeking an experienced Truss Department Associate on our 2nd shift. Under direct supervision the qualified candidate will perform a variety of yard activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and review job list, created by the truss department, and map for efficiency.
• Visit each job site, take pictures to send back to the truss department, with a written note on the status of the job.
• Review materials loaded against invoice or requisition; complete and route paperwork appropriately
• Move product/material throughout the yard ensuring placement in correct areas
• All other duties as assigned

Experience Required:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and six months experience with performing these or similar tasks; or equivalent combination of training, education and experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Knowledge of various types of lumber
• Knowledge of safety procedures while performing tasks
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of company products/inventory available at work location
• Ability to read and understand invoices and requisitions
