Job summary

Raymond Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Truss Assembler I at our Florida facilities. You will lay out truss components, stock lumber and plates, and assemble parts under the direction of line leaders.

Read shop drawings to identify sizes and patterns, load finished materials, and monitor workflow. This entry-level role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, prior carpentry experience preferred, and the ability to read a tape measure and operate basic shop

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Prior carpentry experience preferred.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
• Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.

Responsibilities

• Lay out truss supplies and materials on carts or floor and stock plates for component set-up.
• Assemble components under the direction of line leaders.
• Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.
• Read shop drawings to identify plate sizes, plate gauges, girder truss nailing and bolt patterns.
