Job summary

Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company in Halstead, KS is seeking a reliable Truss Assembler to contribute to our regional manufacturing team. You will assemble trusses by joining parts, placing connector plates, and using saws and nail guns according to our standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass pre-employment screens.
• Able to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Able to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Place connector plates at each truss joint by hammering in place.
• Fit parts together according to prescribed methods and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools, saws, presses, and pneumatic staple/nail guns as required.
• Send finished trusses through the press and move to delivery area.
• Inspect materials and finished products for adherence to standards.
• Assist in area setup, cleanup, and labeling as needed.
