Job summary

Leviton in the Atlanta area is seeking a Logistics Planner I to oversee day-to-day truckload operations, coordinate load tendering, and support TMS functionality while maintaining strong relationships with internal plants, DCs, vendors and carriers.

The role requires 1–2 years in logistics, proficiency with Excel, and familiarity with TMS; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. The position includes comprehensive benefits and up to 5% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent
• 1–2 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations experience
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred
• Experience planning or supporting a dedicated truckload fleet preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute load pickups with timely tendering to truckload carriers.
• Tender shipments, track activity and updates in the TMS.
• Enter accurate load details to ensure carrier has all information.
• Track and resolve shipment exceptions and delays.
• Coordinate recovery plans during capacity shortages or disruptions.
• Maintain carrier performance and elevate service failures as needed.
• Support truckload pooling shipments and after-hours requests.
