Job summary

eShipping LLC is seeking a Truckload Account Manager to foster strong client and carrier relationships and manage day-to-day activities for a variety of clients in the logistics industry. This role is based in Arlington, TX.

The position requires 2+ years in transportation logistics, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage long sales cycles while delivering growth within existing accounts. Strong organizational and analytical abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in transportation logistics.
• Experience building relationships with clients and carriers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage needs of full truckload clients within logistics and supply chain.

Position Summary

The Truckload Account Manager fosters strong customer and carrier relationships and manages a variety of clients within the logistics and supply chain industry. This individual manages client engagement, monitors day-to-day activities, and cultivates business relationships to encourage growth within existing accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage the needs of full truckload clients within the logistics and supply chain industry
• Maintain strong relationships within the client organizations at the decision maker and end-user levels, present a consistent company image to those clients, and build and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
• Develop SOPs, KPIs, and other measurements while onboarding new customers, and ensure these metrics are met and regularly reported for existing customers.
• Manage the contract renewal process
• Promote account penetration by pursuing sales growth opportunities with current customers within other departments
• Nurture prospect relationships over extended sales cycles
• Manage the negotiation and closing processes for each unique contract
• Other administrative duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience
