Job summary

Grow Clinton is seeking a Trailer and Fleet Mechanic in Clinton, IA, to join our maintenance team. You will assist with repair, maintenance, service, and prep of our tractor/trailer equipment, focusing on Pneumatic/Bulk Tank, Van, and Reefer trailers, alongside our Head Mechanic.

We welcome candidates with varying experience levels and offer on-the-job training. A strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and teamwork helps keep equipment road-ready and maintained.

Qualifications

• Willingness to train and learn new mechanical skills.
• Experience with tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Possession of or ability to obtain Class A CDL is a plus.
• Welding or fabrication experience preferred.

This position will assist with the repair, maintenance, service, and preparation of our company-owned tractor/trailer equipment, with a primary focus on Pneumatic/Bulk Tank, Van, and Reefer Trailers.

• Welding or fabrication experience.
• Experience with tires and tire service.
