Job summary

Clark Pacific in California seeks an experienced Logistics and Trucking Operations Leader to oversee trucking operations, fleets and cross‑functional teams. You will drive efficiency, safety, and cost targets while aligning with project schedules and client requirements.

Requirements include 7–10 years in trucking/logistics, 3–5 years leadership, fleet management, DOT compliance, TMS and Power BI reporting. A Bachelor's degree is required; Master's preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 7–10 years progressive trucking/logistics experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • 3–5 years leadership/management experience overseeing drivers and dispatch.
  • Experience managing fleet operations, scheduling, routing, dispatch, and delivery coordination.
  • Construction, precast concrete, heavy haul or oversized-load transport experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead trucking operations across multiple sites with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop strategy for department integration with company goals.
  • Manage trucking contracts, sourcing, negotiating, and execution.
  • Forecast fleet needs and ensure asset availability.
  • Build logistics supply chain and optimize efficiency.

  • Leverage cross-functional, agile teams and project groups to identify and address opportunities for improvement.
  • Travel to Clark Pacific and partner locations as needed to provide leadership, oversight, and management of trucking operations and teams across multiple sites.
  • Utilize data analytics, internal data and trends to support project planning, monitor performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support project objectives and decision-making.

Work Environment
  • General in-office environment will be experienced.

Experience And Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations, including increasing levels of responsibility
  • 3-5 years of leadership or management experience overseeing drivers, transportation teams, dispatch, logistics operations, or similar functions
  • Experience managing fleet operations, transportation scheduling, routing, dispatch, and delivery coordination preferred.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, precast concrete, heavy haul, or oversized-load transportation is a plus
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
