General Description.

The Trucking Dispatcher Administrative Assistant will provide support to Trucking Dispatcher, and other departments, as needed.

Key Duties

• Assist with the scheduling and dispatching schedule for the Trucking Dispatcher
• Assist with maintaining records, logs and schedules
• Assist with preparing detailed reports
• Assist with tracking equipment deliveries
• Perform Filing and Document Control
• Routine Office Activities
• Other duties assigned by supervisors as needed

Education, Experience and Skills.

This position typically is semi entry-level, however it requires a minimum of one (1) or more years of previous experience in an administrative support role.

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be well organized and detail oriented
• Must be able to work with constant interruption
• Must be proficient with MS Office to include; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Previous experience in construction and contracting is preferred
• Must have strong customer service
• Previous office administration experience in a construction setting is highly desired

Physical Demands.

• Ability to drive a company vehicle for various recruiting events.

Work Environment.

• Work generally is performed in an office environment, although periodic visits to construction sites and manufacturing facilities may be required.
• Noise level in the typical office work environment is quiet.
