Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Orlando to perform essential repairs and maintenance on a fleet of moving vans and box trucks. You will handle oil/fluids, brakes, tires, and suspension, with guidance from senior technicians as you grow your skills.

Requirements include 2 years of auto repair experience, at least 1 ASE certification (with room to obtain 2 more in the first year), and a valid driver’s license with DOT clearance. On-site work only.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Working knowledge of ASE certification areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Light Vehicle/Diesel.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C) and ability to obtain DOT medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer moving vans and box trucks across multiple brands.
• Oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brake and suspension work, and warranty-related repairs.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostics and repair procedures as you continue to grow your skills.
• Occasionally drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing, repair verification, or operational support.
