Job summary

Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment, a division of Douglas Dynamics, is seeking a production assembler to upfit trucks, fabricate and install steel parts, and repair equipment in a manufacturing setting.

You will follow engineering drawings and SOPs to meet production goals, with on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement. A High School diploma and related experience are preferred; MIG welding and 12V wiring knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three-year related experience in manufacturing or technical environment preferred.
• MIG welding and basic electrical knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic equipment and products under close supervision according to SOPs.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, BOMs and install equipment.
• Meet production schedule deadlines as set by Production Manager.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Identify defects and document them.
• Complete all required documentation promptly.
• Consult supervisor on quality or process issues.
• Rework or repair assemblies per engineering changes.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work area clean.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
