Job summary

Reading Truck in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Truck Installation Technician III to install specialty truck equipment such as service bodies and stake bodies. The role involves mounting hitches, shelves, ladder racks and other accessories, while following safety rules and PPE requirements.

2+ years welding (metal/aluminum) and electrical wiring are required; hydraulics knowledge is a plus. You will train with other mechanics and perform additional duties as needed. Sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding (metal and aluminum).
• 2+ years electrical wiring experience.
• Ability to build schematics.
• Hydraulics knowledge is a plus.
• Independent troubleshoot capability.
• Operate power hand tools; bring basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Install truck bodies and accessories per job specs.
• Mount hitches, shelves, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Train with other mechanics as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
