Job summary

Reading Truck in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Truck Installation Technician III to join the team under the Shop Supervisor for installation of specialty truck equipment such as service bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches and other commercial accessories. Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and work with power tools.

The role includes installing bodies and accessories, mounting components, and collaborating with mechanics; a basic welding background is helpful and other duties may be assigned by

Qualifications

2+ years welding skills (metal and aluminum).
2+ years electrical wiring experience.
Ability to build schematics.
Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus.
Independent ability to troubleshoot.
Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools).

Responsibilities

Install truck bodies, plows, and other commercial truck accessories.
Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.
Basic weld experience is helpful.
Train with other mechanics as needed.
Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
