Job summary

Henderson Products Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician for our heavy bay, performing MIG welding, fabrication and assembly during up-fit and installation on heavy-duty trucks.

You will read schematics/diagrams/blueprints, perform shop math, and contribute to accurate installations while working in a team environment. Experience in welding, assembly and manufacturing is preferred; a technical degree or certifications are helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math and ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams and blueprints.
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes.
• Technical degree helpful/certifications (welding, electrical, hydraulics) not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding, fabrication and assembly in the up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds.
• Conduct diagnostic and repair work; read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints; perform shop math.
• Collaborate with team to ensure accurate installations and repairs; participate in safety practices.
