Job summary

TBEI - Lake Crystal, Lake Crystal, MN, is seeking a Truck Upfit Technician to assemble and install custom truck bodies. You will layout, wire, and mount components on trucks, operate sheet metal machinery, and work with hydraulics and PTO systems.

The role requires physical capability, strong reading of blueprints, and a team approach. On-site, with competitive hourly pay and benefits, four 10-hour days per week.

Qualifications

• Must know basic math to set up and operate machines accurately.
• Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 lbs.
• Using overhead hoists requires ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand on concrete for several hours.
• Read job specs, blueprints and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Layout, wiring, and mounting of custom truck bodies on trucks.
• Set up and operate machines to cut, bend, saw, punch steel for parts.
• Work with hydraulics, PTOs, and pumps.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support other duties as assigned.
