Job summary

Sysco Tampa Bay is seeking an Operations position focused on moving trucks and trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading. You will collaborate with loaders and supervision to position equipment and ensure seals and refrigeration units operate correctly.

Responsibilities include docking, securing loads, coordinating with transportation management, performing basic maintenance checks, and maintaining a clean, safe yard.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education.
• 1 year of warehouse or transportation experience preferred.
• Truck backing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with loaders and supervision to move trucks and trailers between locations according to door assignments.
• Checks to ensure each unit is sealed and refrigeration unit is operating correctly.
• Moves trucks and trailers from dock to dock to complete the loading process, including dropping and hooking trailers.
• Ensures the trailer or truck is loaded and secured before moving from the dock area.
• Arranges trucks and trailers on the yard in an orderly and efficient manner.
