Responsibilities

• Move trucks and trailers between doors according to dock assignments.
• Check seals and refrigeration units to ensure proper operation.
• Drop and hook trailers and move them as needed to complete loading.
• Ensure loads are secure before moving from the dock area.
• Coordinate with transportation management to use the correct equipment.
• Work with fleet shop to ensure equipment repairs are completed before use.
• Keep yard clean and organized, free of debris.
• Record start-up time and reefer set points for pre-cooling.
• Perform basic checks like oil, fluids, lights, tires as required.
