Job summary

Walmart is seeking a maintenance technician to perform inspections, repairs, and replacements on trailers, tractors, yard trucks, and shop equipment at our Robinson, TX facility. You will create work orders, conduct diagnostics with technical gear, and identify parts and solutions to fix drivetrain, electronics, and HVAC issues.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.
• Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.19.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and replacements on Walmart equipment following company guidelines.
• Create and process work orders; perform diagnostics with technical equipment.
• Identify parts and solutions; perform drivetrain, electronics, and HVAC repairs.
• Maintain compliance with DOT guidelines and fuel sampling procedures.
