Job summary

Sysco Jackson, LLC in Jackson, MS seeks an Operations associate to move trucks and trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading.

You will verify seals, ensure refrigeration units operate correctly, and coordinate with transportation management to use the right equipment on routes.

This role requires basic warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, and forklift/pallet jack certification.

Qualifications

• Education: less than high school; 1 year warehouse/transportation experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; Pallet Jack and Forklift Certification from Sysco is obtainable after hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with loaders and supervision to move trucks and trailers per door assignments.
• Check seals and refrigeration unit operation.
• Move trailers between docks to complete loading and unloading.
• Ensure trailers/trucks are loaded and secured before moving from dock area.
• Coordinate with transportation management to use proper equipment on routes.
