Job summary

Qualifications

• High school level education as stated.
• 1 year warehouse/transportation experience preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Pallet Jack and forklift certification obtainable after hire.

Responsibilities

• Move trucks and trailers between dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Collaborates with loaders and supervision to follow door assignments.
• Check seals and refrigeration operation before movement.
• Hook/drop trailers and ensure loads are secured before moving.
• Coordinate with transportation management on proper equipment.
• Work with fleet shop to ensure repairs are completed before use.
• Maintain orderly yard and trailer placement.
• Record start-up time and reefer set points for pre-cooling.
• Ensure trailer doors are closed when not docked.
• Assist with other site duties such as fluids checks and fueling.
