State Truck Collision is seeking an Auto Fabricator to join our growing team of exceptional employees. MUST have previous experience with auto body work and repairs. We are looking for someone who is energetic and reliable with a diverse set of skills.

Experience working with commercial vehicles, such as tractor trailers, box trucks, buses, vans, and forklifts, is a huge plus. This is NOT a car shop.

Must be a team player!

Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with opportunities for additional hours.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE, and hard work is recognized.

Responsibilities:

1. Cutting and welding with various processes.
2. Machining fabrication materials and components.
3. Fitting, setting, and installing fabricated structures.
4. Making repairs to cargo boxes, trailers, frames, and wheelbases.
5. Filing, grinding, and sanding repaired surfaces in preparation for painting.
6. Maintaining neat and orderly records of work performed and repairs made.
7. Repairing, designing, laying out, estimating, and metal forming, bending, and finishing.
8. Tracking time records related to repairs, shop time, and payroll hours.
9. Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
10. Using specialized equipment like welding or soldering tools to build components.
11. Reviewing blueprints, drawings, and specifications before and during fabrication to ensure accuracy.
12. Performing bodywork, sheet metal work, installing parts, welding, and ensuring all gaps and fits meet industry standards.
