Job summary

Huck’s Food and Fuel is seeking a Truck Stop Maintenance Associate to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming facilities at our truck stop. You will maintain fueling stations, restrooms, showers, parking areas, and common spaces while upholding Huck’s high standards of service.

Ideal candidates have prior maintenance or custodial experience, basic mechanical aptitude, and a strong work ethic. This is a full-time, on-site role with outdoor work in varying weather conditions and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance, custodial, or similar experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated and proactive with good time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on truck stop facilities including fueling stations, restrooms, and common areas.
• Inspect and maintain equipment such as fuel pumps, lighting, HVAC, laundry, showers, and restroom fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, and other customer-facing facilities; restock supplies.
• Monitor exterior areas including landscaping, snow removal, and debris cleanup; ensure safe parking.
• Provide basic customer assistance related to maintenance and notify management of issues.
• Conduct safety checks and report concerns; ensure ladders, lifting, and wet-floor signs are used.
