Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Grocery Technician in Valdosta, GA to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on transport refrigeration units, trailers, and tractor-trailer braking systems. The role includes tire services, fuel handling, warranty processing, and documentation to ensure DOT compliance and equipment reliability.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to Walmart values as part of daily operations in a full-time capacity with varying shifts.

Qualifications

TRU/Refrigeration diagnostics and repair experience.
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
HVAC, APU, heater, and A/C system repair knowledge.
Trailer and brake system maintenance experience.
Tire installation, repair, and alignment capabilities.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computers.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
Knowledge of DOT and safety compliance requirements.
Ability to document work and manage warranty processes.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on TRUs and related components.
Maintain and repair trailers, including electrical, lighting, and structural parts.
Service tractor-trailer braking systems and perform inspections/adjustments.
Carry out tire services, including installation, repairs, balancing, and alignments.
Receive fuel deliveries, monitor levels, ensure safety, and document processes.
Process warranty repairs and claims with proper documentation.
Diagnose issues, order parts, and maintain fleet equipment.
Complete work orders and logs while complying with policies and DOT rules.
Collaborate with teammates to ensure equipment reliability.
