Primary Responsibilities: The truck shop group leader technician will prioritize their time to perform any production work while fulfilling the duties of a Group Leader Lead production staff Discuss repair needs with customers Assign technicians with service repair work Organize and maintain shop schedules to meet deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Experience with Cat, Cummins, Detroit, Bendix, Wabco and Allison computer applications Previous and effective experience as a Group Leader Basic/intermediate computer skills Effective communication skills Experience with CAT computer applications Thorough understanding of shop practices and procedures focusing on work order processes Knowledge of product and part inventory Working skills in researching and ordering of parts coupled with computer supported clerical ability Ability to organize and prioritize work based on time constraints Strong communication skills for dealing with customers and fellow employees Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
