Truck Scale Calibration Technician - Do more with your CDL! Stay Local

We are looking for a motivated individual to drive our Scale Test Truck (Class B), operate a boom lift crane to move test weights and learn the scale industry.

We work hard and have fun, with a positive work ethic and a customer first mindset.

Qualifications
  • Willing to learn
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, electronic equipment, related hardware and software, including their uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Basic electronic and mechanical knowledge, including working knowledge of a digital voltmeter
Responsibilities
  • Provide installation, calibration, and field service repair on weighing equipment using testing devices, gauges, and other tools and equipment
  • Check work orders and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to determine tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation of repair assignment
  • Complete job hazard analysis ensuring safety protocols and PPE are in place before starting any task
  • Test electrical components and replace faulty components
  • Properly maintain all equipment, tools, and facilities for safe operation
  • Accurate and timely completion of all reporting
  • Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, or suggestions for product/service improvements
  • Follow all Federal, State, local regulations, and Company Safety policies
  • Represent Scales, Sales & Service in a professional and ethical manner at all times
  • Keep up with technology changes to products as introduced
