Job summary

Dobbs Truck Group is seeking an outside sales professional to grow our commercial truck business across assigned territories, selling new equipment, financing, service, parts, and body shop work.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 3 years of outside sales experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a CDL within 12 months; travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years' outside sales experience.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment and a qualified MVR abstract.
• Ability to obtain a valid CDL within 12 months of employment.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License.
• Sales experience in the transportation industry, i.e., Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack and other OEMs.
• Refuse and vocational application experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Selling new equipment, financing of both new and used vehicles, and equipment rentals and leases.
• Selling service, parts, and body shop work.
• As assigned by management with the right to revise territory responsibility or assigned accounts.
